Step 1: Choose a Proxy

Alternatively, you can add the Webshare extension by heading to Webshare Dashboard and clicking Add Extension for Free under the Install Chrome Extension section. 

The browser extension is perfect for accessing Tumblr’s web version, but if you prefer using the app, you must set up a system-wide proxy. Fortunately, with Webshare's proxies, you can easily configure a proxy server on any device. 

Step 3: Connect to a Proxy

Find the Webshare Proxy Extension in the Extension bar and click on it. Next is to choose a proxy from the list of available options. 

Remember, each proxy directs traffic through a specific country. So be sure to pick a location that allows access to Tumblr, provided that your restriction is due to geographic reasons.

You may need to provide a username and password to use the proxy. To retrieve your login details, click the arrow next to the proxy’s IP address and view the Proxy Details section.

Step 4: Go to the Tumblr Website

To be sure you did the right thing, visit Tumblr’s website to log into your account. With a successful configuration, you can access Tumblr without encountering any blocks.
